| Workshops/Online
Discussion |
| Each workshop aims to provide you
with an opportunity to further explore the issues raised in
the unit notes. Guest speakers will be invited to share experience
and good practice of diversity issues. If you are enrolled on
the online course, discussion topics will be posted on the Discussion
Forum within the online Learning Centre and you will
be expected to participate in these discussion forums. |
| The approach to assessment is not
intended to be entirely theoretical or academic. Assessments
have been purposely designed to reinforce a work-base approach
to learning and encourage you to translate your learning from
classroom to workplace. |
| There are four written
assignments and one oral presentation. Each will be formally
assessed and you will be required to demonstrate that you have
met the outcomes criteria that can be found at the beginning
of each unit of study. |
| Each assignment will need to be submitted
with the Assignment Cover sheet that will be provided, duly
signed and dated. A course schedule will also be given to you
stating the dates by which you have to submit your assignments. |
