Six diversity posts for 2012 Olympics adverti

The Olympic Delivery Authority has announced on its website that it is looking for six people to work on staff diversity.
Each equalities post is believed to be worth around £100,000 per year, dependent on experience, and more diversity and inclusion posts relating to the 2012 London games are expected to follow, according to Personnel Today.
Jobs currently being advertised ahead of the 2012 Games in London include head of equalities and inclusion at the Olympic Delivery Authority, equalities and inclusion manager, and head of diversity and inclusion at the London 2012 Organising Committee.
Most of the six posts will be based at the Olympic Delivery Authority headquarters in east London, but CLM, the consortium awarded the delivery partnership contract for the 2012 Olympics, is also looking for a deputy head of equality and inclusion, and an equality and inclusion manager.
A spokeswoman for the Olympic organisation told Personnel Today: "London's diversity was an important factor in helping win the bid. This small number of posts will help ensure we maximise the many job opportunities and skills for London's diverse communities."
Created to be a single delivery body for the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2012, the Olympic Delivery Authority claims that it is "looking for talented, dedicated people to work across a wide range of job roles".
